I saw an ESPN bit with Kenny Mayne a few weeks ago where he talks about how the 100m race is one of the most exciting events in all of sports. I have to agree.

Usain Bolt captivated the world for a little under 10 seconds last year in Beijing. He has done the same this year in Berlin. He broke world records at this year’s World Championships in both the 100m and 200m races. What I find extraordinary is the difference between his 100m and 200m times - 9.61 seconds. This means that Bolt only added .03 seconds to his pace in the second 100 meters of the 200m race. Unbelieavably fast.
