Yelp Is the iPhone’s First Augmented Reality App →
Wow. I have read bits and pieces about “augmented reality”, but have yet to see it in action until now.
You can start to think of some of the possibilities -
Real estate apps that show home values, taxes and sale price by just pointing your phone at a home
Craigslist postings by location
Facebook shows where your friends are
Geotagged pictures that your friends took of your...
Create an Open NYC Landlord and Property... →
I would definitely pledge some bucks to a website that organized all landlords and property management companies in NYC. Awesome idea, but I feel it will never happen. There is no incentive for rental property owners to help a project like this. Rentals in NYC are at such a premium that renters have little room to be choosy. If the demand (and thats a very big if) ever fell for rental properties...

Usain Bolt breaks 200m world record in time of... →
I saw an ESPN bit with Kenny Mayne a few weeks ago where he talks about how the 100m race is one of the most exciting events in all of sports. I have to agree.
Usain Bolt captivated the world for a little under 10 seconds last year in Beijing. He has done the same this year in Berlin. He broke world records at this year’s World Championships in both the 100m and 200m races. What I find...
Free Golf Might Be Profitable | Golfblogger Golf... →
I have been reading an awful lot about Chris Anderson’s new book Free: The Future of a Radical Price. Here is a really interesting case study about a golf course of all places that is instituting a variation of this idea. If a golf course can profit from this way of thinking, why couldn’t other similar business models adapt? Every time a plane flies from New York to LA the airline pays staff, gas,...

“It’s believed the new technology will cost much more than normal print ads.” - you think?
Whats really interesting is that the company that is producing these, Americhip, is also developing technologies that appeal to various senses including smell.
I have always felt that sense of smell has been neglected in marketing. It is used by plenty of businesses, but is still the...

Trying out tumbler, could it replace Twitter?
Woothemes recently blogged about creating Tumblr templates. I have purchased wordpress themes from them and have been inspired by there quality and custom support. I want to give Tumblr a whirl to see why the Woo team sees value in developing for this platform.
My reaction to the post is below -
I think its awesome you are exploring new platforms. I don’t have a Tumblr account, so this might be...
